As Johnny Dangerously, Bramwell released the mini-album You, Me and the Alarm Clock in 1990.
It was acclaimed in The Guardian newspaper as one of 'the greatest albums you've never heard',
a track from which was re-released as a B-side to an I Am Kloot single.

Here's one song from the mini-album.

I respect John so much for his song writing. I do not own the copyright of the music, nor the image used.
The copyright is the image belongs to Richard Davis. The photograph was taken in 1991.
Track listings from the recording You, Me and The Alarm Clock are as follows.

1. Junk Culture
2. Pierfront Arcade
3. You, Me And The Alarm Clock
4. Black And Blue
5. This Town and Mary
6. Tearing It Down

  • please can you put some more up?

  • @klooty23

Sadly I wont be doing so. It's an agreement I have.

  • Any tips on where this album might be available? I've been trying to track it down for a couple of years.

    Thanks for posting these tracks.

Record fairs? It's rare as hens teeth though.

You need to be lucky to get you hands on an original copy.

Or seek out an illegal download of the album.

  • @hairymarx shall i make you a serious offer ?

  • I was going out with one of his friends when he lived in Wales and was recording this, my b/f was a photographer and took some of the pics for the album :) Nice guy, ah the good ol' days ;)

  • I got frightened when the picture started changeing. Seriously, i was like "ohhh shit nooo" :P

  • I bought the 12 inch vinyl of "You, Me And The Alarm Clock" at the time of its release and remember seeing the man himself play it live in a small upstairs bar at the Mean Fiddler in Harlesden, north London way back in 1989/90 in front of 6 people (including me and my mate). This gem had gone unoticed for nearly 20 years until an article about it appeared in the Guardian. Somebody would have to offer me some serious cash to let it go.

  • the album is on a website called unpoplar culture..go get it!!
