  • oops sorry... typo... What I meant was that "if the interior wasn't that crowded"

  • Hi. It was difficult getting there when the plane was empty as this was an airshow day! Camera is XHA1 + wide angle.

  • @concorde1350mph

when i went in it , the plane smelled a bit ...funky

  • @glynhoyland hi went in and its great and you can see a lot of cockpit anyway

  • @concorde1350mph

the only reason why they dont let u in the is because all the swiches and stuff still works lol

  • Well it's only the "Merlin" as I said, which is not the big one and which does not allow monitors to be attached, just the little camera. A year later and happy to tell you my technique has improved, but still not as good as yours! Noted too how patient you were with that fool in the blue jacket who, seeing you were making a walk-thru movie, just stands there staring at you and blocking your way. Finally, evveerrr so slowly, he moves aside.

  • how heavy is the camera? If it's quite light then it'll be tough to rock it on a steadicam because of balancing weight and such. you can get weights to counter balance but this of course adds to the stress on your vest.

  • it takes a while with regards to getting your steps right, your shoulders balanced and of course you need to withstand the weight. Which camera are you using and which battery packs? Do you have a monitor connected yto your steadicam? i know some people that work without the monitor, it's ludicrous to me. Two months is an extremely short period of time to try and master the steadicam.

  • Can you use the Steadicam Merlin with a Sony handycam DCR-HC17E (mini dv)?

  • great vid good filming a vid for once which isnt blury

im going in that Concorde 101 next week or so its a real shame that you cant go in the cockpit

    great vid 5 stars

  • How did you keep it so straight. I have been using that Merlin for two months, and every shot rocks back and forth, impossible to keep it straight. Have been practicing many hours, still unable to master it.

  • Very impressive ol.

Cannot get over how steady that thing really is
