Which black person did Beethoven steel from? Come on man, it's just race. Show me one scientific fact that says this race is better at music than that race. It's rather a broad and silly thing to say.

All of the white artists you mentioned were deeply influenced by black artists who preceded them (and they always acknowledged it too), but if you don't think that these same white artists added anything worthwhile to humanity's musical legacy then I question how well-informed you are about music, or at least how much of a true music lover that you are.

My life would be a poorer one if ANY of the ten artists you mentioned hadn't lived.

Race does play a part in it to some extent, polynesians in general have a better singing voice than caucasions but this does not apply to every single individual, at the end of the day though music is music so who really cares.

I must have missed the 20th century part. Yeah, pretty much accurate then for early to mid 20th century popular music. Africans generally have a much deeper musical culture than Europeans, at least from what I have noticed and read and I play and listen to a lot of music myself, my favorite is blues music, particularly delta blues.

I'm from the very middle of Europe but anytime I listen to black music (even though this song was composed by white men) I feel like I belong with the black. Just hearing them brings joy to me. I believe I had to be black musician in my former life. :-)

actually it's historically accurate. white people have been making, historically, boring ass music that never aged well. black people basically invented rock n roll with the blues and later gospel. practically every important chart topper made in the 20th century and on was written and performed by a black person and appropriated by white people. You missed MegaGum1's point entirely.
