The Rattlers - "Slug"

The RATTLERS debut Joey Ramone's "SLUG" at Max's Kansas City - Feb. 1980. Rejected by the Ramones, Joey gave the song to THE RATTLERS, the first band to perform it live. Joey also did frequent guest appearances with THE RATTLERS, which, at this time, featured Mickey Leigh on guitar, David Merrill on bass, and Matty Quick on drums.

@creepystranger007 Stop was actually one of Mickey's bands. They covered the Ramones "outsider", which is a song that Dee Dee wrote. :)
