This short film I made with my son, is what gave me the idea, and inspiration to later write, and make the film "Tough Luck".
It's the basic old battle within a character, between his addiction, and that which is truly precious to him. The ability to overcome one's vise, such as alcohol, is determined by the selfless will to sacrifice one's pleasure, for the purpose of those we truly love. Hence in this case, the angel protector is my son.

I'm not really a hard drinker my self, yet interestingly, I tend to drink a lot in my films, LOL. I'm not really sure why, because it's not even close to reality. Just as in Tough Luck, which was really based on this short.
Yea, this one is very personal to me as well. I shot it all on my own, on an old camcorder. It's very simple, yet speaks a lot. There is some power to it that makes you feel something. I personally think it's because of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, and my own son being in it.

Watched everything in your line up. Like this one the best. Nice clean tight editing. Being a farely frequent night time tequila drinker myself, this film had an impact! While i may not stop slamming back a shot every now and then, it will certainly make me question when i am choosing to do so.
