mile davies was the founder of cool-jazz and bebop,with his friends,in late 50'ies,and he met jimi hendrix in late 60ies,they jammed and worked together,had discussions about the future of blues and jazz,he was a fan of jimi,jimi was a fan of miles.Jimi started to play more jazzy,in fact he was also a furious jazz-guitar player.The influence of both you can hear on several records!

I have all official and 4 unofficial recordings,plus the winterland,isle of wight and the fillmore east recordings,i was a hendrix afficionado,with young 14,and it never left me again,he is for the guitar,what davies was for the trumpet,a totally renewer of sound,like beethoven,and a very sympathic,gentle kind of man...!And he was afraid,his blues is not authenthic and soulful enough!!!

Awsome!! does anyone know what the red guitar was that Jimi was using?? Im taking a guess that its a Gibson model ... Nice sound!! Im also guessing that this was pre experience ..
