Diversity @ Covent Garden during a video-shoot for Disney Channel (Thursday 6 August 2009)

......................Walking past the outskirts of Covent Garden (at around 7.45am) during a visit to London, we noticed a film crew with several cameras, a boom, lots of security guards and a fenced off area. This immediately caught our attention.
We asked a mother with two teenage children what was going on and to our complete surprise we found out that winners of Britain's Got Talent 2009 "Diversity" were about to do a video shoot for a new TV Channel - DisneyXD.
So we stood around for 3 hours to finally get a glimpse of the Street Dance Troop youngsters and see in person one of their amazing dance routines.
The shoot finally started at 10.38am and several 'takes' were done at regular intervals.

My friend's son was one of the backing dancers, thanks for letting me see them perform as I had to work and couldn't go and watch.. Its excellent.

You can tell your friend that they can be very proud of their son, and that every dancer (without exception) did a brilliant job. If you want to see the build-up to the event, want the best view of the video-shoot and can receive DisneyXD channel when it starts on August 31st, then keep an eye for the forthcoming program "XD Challenge" - with Diversity's Dance Challenge being aired sometime in September.
