Cool. How about compiz? install ccsm from add/remove applications. the go to System->Preferences->appearance. Go to visual effects and turn on extra. You have to have a 3d compatible graphics card though. (If you can use Aero, then the effects should work.)
Thanks for all the help; I'm using it right now! I don't know what I did wrong last time, but it works now. Unfortunately, this tutorial does NOT work; you have to have the Windows Aero theme.
Yes, I have it on a CD and a flash drive. When I boot from the CD, it gives me a BSoD, and when I try the flash drive it says 'Invalid disc detected.'

no. burn the iso file onto a disc, then boot the disk. install Ubuntu on to your hdd, and get everything going. I think you'll love it.
