Transcript: http://rickroderick.org/205-nietzsche-the-eternal-recurrence-1991/ This is the second part of the fifth lecture in the "Nietzsche and the Post-Modern Condition" series of lectures, released by The Teaching Company in 1991. Converted from VHS to MOV to AVI to youtube.
8:47 - I checked IMDB. Kyle MacLachlan WAS in a Hamlet (nine years after this lecture), but he played Claudius, and the director was Michael Almereyda, not David Lynch.
You are a genius-- a great lecturer. You need to go back to the Birth of Tragedy, though, and look at Nietzsche's obsession with Hamlet throughout the course of his life. This is a fascinating thing, watching it evolve the way it does.
