theres nouthing mysterious about it, the corona wire ionises air molicules which are attracted to the foil below this creates a downdraft so aerodynamicly it is very simelar to a helicopter. its not antigravety but if you are unsure check out the mythbuster report on it, it has no gravetational effect and will not function in a vacume.

@pyroboy08 Well that is not entirely true... we do have a handfull of methods for transmitting electricity wirelessly so the power supply technically does nto have to be mounted to the device. Nicola Tesla was able to power a light bulb with a very large Tesla coil up to a couple of miles away. He developed it to replace power lines but the idea was scrapped because the useage could not be metered. The real problem though is you can run 10 electric motors with fans on them at the same wattage...

the truth is that this technology is useless. For it to be useful it must produce enough thrust to carry its own power supply along with useful load.

Now... How much voltage is needed? Would having a higher voltage, more of a "base," or layering that platform give a higher thrust? If not, what would...?

He is not the inventor. The Lifter uses the Biefeld-Brown effect discovered by Thomas Townsend Brown in 1928. This was a bit before this guy was even born.

One of my sons and I built a bunch of these in my garage. it was a lot of fun making them fly. That was about 6 years ago.

And as someone else said earlier, this was done on myth busters and they put it in a vacuum chamber, to my surprise, it wont fly in a vacuum. So, it wont work in space where there's no oxygen to make ozone.

@alienpatentoffice no no and no. ufos does not use ion wind as the ion wind craft constantainly need and energy transfer to work. true anti-gravity is gravity. there are many ways to create energy containment as force of gravity.

i name two. the first is the most basic one, it uses ultrasonic waves pulsed feeing the mass with energy conserved as force. the second type is the same thing but by using an mangetic field pulsed as a wave to create gravitational force in a mass. energy is not fields.
