FINALLY A NORMAL EDC. i mean where do you live that you have to have a gun on you at all times? (unless your a cop). LOVE THIS VIDEO. what was the name of that lighter?

@pro2343 Thank you very much for the comment. I agree. Having a gun for personal protection is nowhere I want to reside anyway. Personally, I have self defense knowledge which doesn't involve taking a life. The lighter is a sterling silver Dunhill Rollagas. It is Swiss made and imo. the most reliable design ever made for a gas lighter. Zippo will always be king of the petrol wind proof designs.

I think Zippo lighters are the best lighters in the world. How many products can you think of that have remained unchanged since the 30's? The Zippo doesn't have to evolve, it's damn near perfection. No EDC is complete without one, even if I didn't smoke I'd still carry one.

@Dave54600 I have taken your advice and added a vintage series 1937 model in sterling silver to my EDC (Thanks to hatshark eBay store) along with a black cordura form fitted belt case(Thanks to knifedepot eBay store). Has turned out to be my favorite "winter season lighter" Also picked up the new Zippo carry fuel canister and stash container. Nice quality items!

you could use a gun. just saying, a little ruger LCP couldnt hurt to help out on the personal protection side of your EDC.

@Dave54600 iI know "exactly" what you mean...I too have found myself collecting Zippo gear. Simply because it's made in the USA , durable quality and reliability. I don't see myself using more than two Zippo lighters for the occasion but like having them :)

@drummerofDRIVER Just saw it on ebay, very nice. Nice choice of Zippo by the way :-) Beware the beauty of Zippos. After I saw that fuel cannister I found myself collecting Zippos. I used the same 1941 brass one for 10 years quite happily, now I have 18 and as much as I like them I'm not sure why I need 18 Zippos. :-))

@Dave54600 No, actually it is a new promo item from Zippo. A large stainless steel heavily chromed container with knurled edge anodized steel screw on top with chain. Has a nylon liner for use as a medicine bottle. Very handy along with the new petro carry fuel canister as well. Nice durable made items with longevity.
