  • I've done that! I didn't have one with me.

You know, when I finally got to Georgia and it was above freezing, like 40F, it melted and the squirter worked! Sheesh. Not winter prepared! It never occured to me to winterize the car before driving north!

  • I have a Garmin. Nuvi something like 365 but it isn't that number.

  • Hey Nancy, I"m sure you've answered this already, but what kind of gps do you recommend?

I have a gps that takes me around in circles. We call her ditzy names because she always has us going in the wrong direction. We keep expecting her to say, in her smooth voice, "Pull over when possible and ask for directions." LOL! We're moving to a new, unknown area and I'd like to get one so I don't get lost all the time. I love gps's, just not the one I have.

  • My uncle used to carry a small squirt bottle ~ like a sport's bottle ~ of winshield washer fluid up beside the driver's seat. When it would get scuzzy, he's just open his window, reach out and squirt it on. THEN he'd put the wipers on when the window was shut again or it'll spray into the car. His washer reservoir was broken, and this was a quick fix!
