Tory Lauterbach Testifying at TDP Hearing on Primary-Caucus System in Austin

The Advisory Committee on the Texas Democratic Party Convention/Caucus System held a meeting in Austin on November 14 to take testimony from the public. The committee is conducting a series of meetings for Democrats to testify about the primary/caucus system in Texas. At the Austin hearing the overwhelming majority of people testified against the Texas Two-Step. The Committee will consider this feedback and possibly make recommendations to the State Democratic Executive Committee for changes.

Wow, she seems so nervous. She should have practiced or at least read through before speaking publicly. She's talking way too fast and she's upending most of her statements. But the worst sin is that she is mostly literally reading straight from her notes. Bad show for Ms. Lauterbach. A little effort shows people that you care and are serious about your position. Look into it next time, Tory.

Would it comfort you to know that I heard this recitation of her notes "presentation" in person? Do you also argue that any effort, however poorly executed, to "do something" is to be commended?
