This is my Rottie, Mabel and Woody, the Boxer. This video was captured in the middle of this particular play session, about 20 minutes in length. Mabel was 3. The most rewarding pay off in training a puppy, the correct way, is to watch as he/she shares toys in play with another dog or cat. My Mabel has not been easy! She was 7 weeks old when I brought her home. She had a hard first few weeks after weaning. Her first owner was not prepared to own a puppy. She had been struck in the face and spanked. After 2 yrs of bonding and training, she began to be a perfect companion! She is 5 1/2 yrs old now.
