From a fellow NWC member, great work. Needs some fine tuning tho. Hey barrel, that is not a whip, and out of the 4 backup exercises for "The Method" one HAS to move toward the horse when teaching. It is called the *concept* , eventually the signal is all that is needed to ask a horse to back up. Unless of course you back your horse everywhere like most of us NWC people to keep them respectful of our space and not plow over us.

i'm no expert but I do know that you should not move toward the horse when you're using a whip and want it to back up.
