So have you found that it makes any difference about red or black or silver hooks. Stupid question, but just bought some red 5/0 gamakatsu's the other day because thats all they had

@nolangreen Honestly- everyone says red or black doesn't matter but from my experience it seems the Bass love to ATTACK anything with red. I even draw red lines with paint on some of my spinnerbaits and tubes (at the ends of the strands). It seems the red really triggers aggressive strikes- not sure if it's mental/confidence or the truth. I caught a 7.9 and a 6.11 bass in the same day at this same lake from video and the 7.9 I had black/red again! The 6.11 was black/blue.

@brentgrab One other thing. Do you know of any place to find the old renegade worms? I don't know if you're old enough to know or have ever seen them. I'm 18. My stepdad has had them in his tackle box for years, i mean ridiculous. The bag was open, its kind of a purple package. These are black and blue or purpleish fleck, kind of smell like grape honestly. They still work. Some of the most aweome worms i've found, but you don't see them anymore. Maybe they changed the package or something.

@nolangreen I'm not sure what those are but I think something similar to it is the Manns Bait brand worm. "Manns Jelly Worm" They have huge ones like 8 and 12" at Bass Pro Shops and they have different smells like licorice, etc. Maybe that is similar to what you mean? There is also something called the 'Renegade Twirl Tail worm' which is definitely old school and might be what you're talking about? It's usually purple/pink etc. and they sometimes still have them at Wal-Mart
