Ok people, step back and think for a moment! WCW was doing these Sting promos years ago, so is it not WWE ripping off WCW? WWE did a very clever thing by using this type of promo - it made a lot of people think it was Sting coming to WWE, when a lot of us knew it was Taker, yet we still thought "could it be?". By doing this, TNA has said two things. 1) That's what you get for trying to take Sting and 2) Don't try and rip off WCW. Fair play in my opinion. Long live Sting!

@abarlowgsa umm yea that was in 1997 WWE purchased WCW in 2001...so WWE owns every single history from WCW if WWE had done that in 1998 then it would be a rip off,lol why is it TNA never shows footage from Sting's earliere days?its ILLEGAL...lol

@SlipknotRocksSIC Ratings don't matter? Tell that to Dixie Carter because shes needs it right now. Ratings are what's keeping WWE still at the top and ratings is what is slowly bringing TNA down. You lost it when he said "thuganomics?" Where were you back in 2003-2005 when he was in his rapper gimmick, a gimmick many people praise him for, even if they aren't fans of him now. You don't like rap as a whole? Gee, I can sense a lot of bias opinions from that. I wonder why.

@mcasdorph84 No, I understand they did it to take a shot at the WWE. But this is their "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THEIR MUST SEE SHOW" that they hyped up to be groundbreaking? How is this announcement anything groundbreaking? Sting is in TNA again? Nobody cares. People only cared about Sting possibly going into the WWE because that was actually big news for the industry as a whole. This announcement was a huge slap in the face of TNA fans who actually was looking forward to a good surprise.

@SlipknotRocksSIC Typical TNA fanboy. I know people who absolutely despise Cena yet still admit that his rap about The Rock was a great promo. People want TNA to succeed but they are going the opposite direction and that's what's pissing people off. 2 years ago, they were hyping about how they are slowly gaining ratings. Fast forward to now and they are doing pretty much the same, if not worse. Not to mention how they hardly beat Superstars in ratings. TNA isn't helping with this 3-3-11 stuff.
