netbook for me. Can't quite understand how the tablet craze began. To each their own I guess.

i would rather buy a tablet or netbook, but more likely a tablet cause now they're starting 2 come down 2 compete with expensive Apple tablets & smartphns. i will not $ a smartphn. they still don't offer WiFi prepaid options, just 3g "pay as u go," & even the prepaid option(if u want 2 avoid 2 year contracts, which many people can't afford) is expensive. plus, there aren't many prepaid phones with at least a 4 inch display(big bumber) & optional ethernet adapter in case wifi or 3g signals fail

Nice! I do think tablets have their place though - just throw in a capacitive touch screen together with my keyboard and Win 7 (or maybe the soon to be released Win 8) and I'd be set!

Tablets will devour netbooks. Totally crushing them and removing them from history. Why? Tablet OS designed specifically for small screens from ground up. Applications designed specifically for small screens. Web browsing experience superior to Netbooks. Form factor lighter. Solid state drives means more reliable data storage when throwing around your device. superior chips and SSD's mean no(very minimum) heat, therefore no fan noise, absolute silence. Yes the Tablet will clobber the netbook.

@TheBestFagEver Yeah you can change it...and you can even make it switch to different wallpapers every few sconds, minutes, hours or days or whatever. I have a whole collection of cool wallpapers and it changes the wallpaper every 5 minutes.
Should I buy a gaming pc or stick with consoles?

@XC0MB4TXEV0LV3D Console probably have greater longevity over pc gaming rigs nowadays with more games developed for them. on the other hand you can continue to upgrade your pc. nevertheless a powerful gaming pc will cost much more to buy or build than a console. its a tricky one to answer. hardcore gamers usually make use of both systems to have the best of both worlds. whatever works for you.
