  • my handwritting is horrible and i cant grip a pencil

  • Thankyou for this. I get writer's cramp fairly quickly, and I think it's because I've always held my pen in a weird way.

  • The "traditional" grip she shows is painful for me. I use a nonstandard grip, and can write fine. My hand doesn't cramp at all. I think there's too much emphasis placed on the "correct" way of holding a pencil. If it don't hurt and a person can write legibly, that's the grip for them, not some standard tripod grasp.

  • i don't bend my thumb when i write.

  • I've used a different grip all my life. Searched for this because I intend on learning to draw and I think this grip will make that easier. However, I'm still going to use my traditional grip for writing.
