This game showed a lot of promise. Ufortunately it bombed "at the box office" and so they had to shut it down. It's all about the benjamins... Goddamn corporate empires and their commercial crap that they enforce on the world. U can't make decent games anymore nowadays because of the financial implications. I hate this money hungry corrupted world we live in... I'm still waiting for a great sci-fi MMORPG cuz i'm so sick of WOW and every other fantasy MMO there is. Bring us sci-fi games !

TR was one of the best MMO's I played.. no take that back, it was the best. Damn NCSoft screwed it up from the begining. I bet Garriott could have run it better by himself without NCSoft breathing down his kneck then giving him the boot.

I played TB for a short while. Quite short. At the time I was not expecting the game to be what it was, and felt disappointed. For some reason I quickly ran into npc's far too powerful for me to handle, got lost in the questing and stuck in places somewhere on the map. I eventually returned and, knowing what I was going into, thoroughly enjoyed myself. Truly a pity it ended how it ended, and sad that futuristic sci-fi is still a theme where too many games come to die.

Tnx. Dark Millenium Online looks like a great MMO in the Warhammer 40k universe. If the combat will be action oriented then it will probably have a lot of success. I'll keep an eye on it.

Also, i have recently heard there is a private Tabula Rasa emulator in development. Just search Infiniterasa on google and track the forums. They have a test server going too. If they keep up the good work we may see a TR emulator up and running in the near future.

@mancamiatipoola I'm sick of WoW but I still play once in awhile due to it being so habitual for me over the years, but my time in the game has become less and less. I'm not at all tired of the fantasy genre though, that's why I play these types of games because I like living in a world of magic, orcs/ogres/elves or whatever other fantasy games has to offer. But I do agree with you about money hungry corruption, I'm getting more and more turned off WoW because of that reason.

@mancamiatipoola Yeah they do take a fair bit of time up. But if you ever go back to RPGs and want sci-fi ones, there are TONS out there, not as many as fantasy ones but they're still there.

Well, i'm done with MMO's, but tnx. I prefer to focus on real life now and get out more. MMO's eat up too much of your time and with too few rewards. I'm playing cosmic RTS now and then.
