Never played TR but I've heard it was good, I dunno NC is a weird company. I hate their titles like CoH/CoV and Lineage2. But they've also got 2 of my favorite MMO's on their list which are Guild wars (pvp is original and innovative) and Aion which is just a sick game. But I think they pulled all their resources off other project in order to make Aion, and this caused the other titles to suffer. On top of that they've got the worse marketing dept. of any company that develops games period.

Now if another company would just buy them out and pick this game up where it left off. But easier said than done I imagine.

This game showed a lot of promise. Ufortunately it bombed "at the box office" and so they had to shut it down. It's all about the benjamins... Goddamn corporate empires and their commercial crap that they enforce on the world. U can't make decent games anymore nowadays because of the financial implications. I hate this money hungry corrupted world we live in... I'm still waiting for a great sci-fi MMORPG cuz i'm so sick of WOW and every other fantasy MMO there is. Bring us sci-fi games !

Tabula Rasa was a awesome game, and I really hope Richard Garriott decides to reopen the game again. It DO have a future, if he just takes the step to reopen it, hes leaving alot of players dissapointed if he dont.

I knew a few people who played it. However I love planetside. Dated yes, but still a good solid game. Dynamic roles, different weapons, multiple objectives, vehicles up the ass. You could co-op with a group of 30 people. Just that the population went down. TR seems to have suffered the fate that may become PlanetSide. TR is gone, but PlanetSide is not.. yet. Give it a try. For glory, for humanity, for the Empire! For a good time try it at least. Don' let another good game die :( .
