Col. Allen West explains in a public forum that Islam has violence at its core. Islam is not being twisted by violent Muslims -they are doing exactly what their religion dictates. The point is also made that it is important to know your enemy.

  • @daleshankins no, the solution is to educate. Educated people abandon religion.

  • @Uzurr69 It's hard not to read 1984 and apply it to the back-workings of the 3 Abrahamic faiths.

  • I know this person personally, he was deployed in my town( Taji) in Iraq in 2003, his ass was saved because of the good Iraqis who thought that he brought them peace. Sheik Ali Zigam in Taji has invited him with his sliders to his house and shared their food with them, he did not know that he was full of hatred. Now he is spreading his lies against Islam because this is the shortest way to jump up in the political life.

  • @farfetcheddelusion: "my numbers." Hehe! Yes, I created BOTH the Gallup & Rasmussen polls from this year myself just to win some simple debate ;)

You don't want everyone to follow you, just be educated to understand what you understand and in the way you do. Sounds completely logical. This from the same guy who stated, "This is used repeatedly to control people. You therefore indirectly support the control of people." Guess Atheists aren't religious & really aren't trying to control perception.

  • @YouCruising 100% of people thought earth was center of universe at one point. What people believe does not always match the universe. Your numbers are probably high though, 15% are atheists now and growing. I don't want people to follow me, I want people to be educated enough to realize that there are no gods.

  • @farfetcheddelusion

    Facts:

1). 9 out of 10 Americans believe in God: gallup. com/poll/147887/americans-continue-believe-god.aspx.

2). 78% of Americans believe Jesus was Son of God: rasmussenreports. com/public_content/lifestyle/holidays/april_2011/78_believe_jesus_christ_was_the_son_of_god

3). Michael Newdow, purveyor of Atheist Theology, is an ordained minister at the Universal Life Church.

I have more important people deceived by satan to talk to. U want people to follow U, hypocrite.

  • @YouCruising No, that's wrong. Think about it. Are you 'hardening your heart' against Superman? of course not. You know it is a myth. I see that your god is a myth. So I don't hate "him" any more than I hate or like superman. Why is this so hard for you to see?

I see that religious people try to control others. Happens all the time - on our money in the USA, forcing stupidity into schools, increasing the population of the planet, Sharia law, putting down women ...

    bless means nothing

  • @farfetcheddelusion Not going to spend 2 much time trying to convince you about Gods existence. You've worked at hardening your Heart to our Father. In that, I see one of your favorite books is, "The God Delusion."

So, you construe personal responsibility, and moral grounding as being "controlled?" That's farfetched.

As for "God Bless America?" Well, I simply prefer that God Blesses us, rather than curse us. Our founding Fathers shared such beliefs. Jesus will touch those of good Heart.

  • @YouCruising You support the idea that there is a god. This is used repeatedly to control people. You therefore indirectly support the control of people. indeed, you are being controlled by your beliefs. You personally may not think you are trying to control others but your page is an attempt to do that. But to be clear I meant religious people in general. Glad you support separation of church and state, bravo for you. But why does your background image say 'God Bless America"?

  • @farfetcheddelusion "Yet you want to control everybody else because of this delusion"... <--- When have I proposed to "control you?" Yes, I believe in OUR Father, Jesus Christ. However, I also believe in Governments that are separate from the Church (as OUR country was founded upon). I have several Atheist friends on my page, Brother. We fight together against the evils of the biggest theo-political threat encompassing OUR world, islam.

I believe in Free Will, Brother. Nice try though ;)

  • @YouCruising Let me put it another way. You believe that an invisible mythical being does all kinds of things in the actual universe but you will probably be unable to provide me with even the tiniest shred of evidence for your sky daddy. Yet you want to control everybody else because of this delusion you hold so dear. It's ridiculous and I'm amazed that you don't recognize how silly it makes you look.
