In this guitar lesson I will show you how to play the first solo in Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd. It's an awesome solo, wish I did it justice... More info and TAB on the web site.

Taught by Justin Sandercoe.

Full support at the justinguitar web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem.

And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships, no free ebook. Just tons of great lessons :)

To get help with this lesson (and for further info and tabs), find the Lesson ID in the video title (like ST-667 or whatever) and then look it up on the Lesson Index page of justinguitar.com

Have fun :)

  • bravissimo

  • Thanks alot mate

  • @RealKengeki with enough practice you can stretch the ring finger to the 15th fret without moving your thumb, the bend is quite tricky but still doable. And this solo doesn't go below the 15th fret. The second solo is a different matter altogether

  • @HaistaPaska92 It's playable but i have to keep my left hand flat. My guitar isnt cut below the neck so you cant access 15 and 17 without pulling your thumb our from below the neck

  • @RealKengeki I can play this solo on an acoustic

  • Damn it I can't wait to get an electric to play this on.

My acoustic guitar doesn't even have access to frets past 14, it's pretty impossible.

  • @TheAmbitioned good for you bro :)

  • Proud to say this is the first solo I just learned to play! :')

  • @radiohm3 Me too.
