I have been impressed with "president elect's in waiting" public personna and charisma in a way I have not felt in nearly 50 years.

Mr. Obama did not bring revolution to Springfield in his eight years in the Senate, the longest chapter in his short public life. But he turned out to be practical and shrewd, a politician capable of playing hardball to win election (he squeezed every opponent out of his first race), a legislator with a sharp eye for an opportunity, a strategist willing to compromise to accomplish things.

Another lie!! My goodness, you worshippers will believe anything that comes out of his mouth!! Just like Selma, Alabama. He moved here b/c his mentor in college Tony Rezko lived here since he was in high school!! This proves he lies to win! yet again!! didnt know anyone, what a liar! He is a good speech writer... and very good at trickery!

Wait, Don't all Presidential Candidates show an aura of Elitism? Isn't that what most parents inspire their child to be? An intellectual and a leader of people. Afterall a handfull of people think they're ready to take on a job millions of people cannot. For that you got to have a lot of self righteousness. So is Obama an elitist? Intellectually, yes he is. Intellegence is something that has been lacking for 8 years under a Bush White House.
