A camcorder is great for recording milestones of our kids, sending video greetings to family and friends and posting on sites like YouTube. But a traditional camcorder can be very expensive and may offer more than the average person needs. This video looks at two inexpensive flash type camcorders, the DXG 567 VHD and the Flip Ultra. Can you really get decent video for around $100? This review looks at these two camcorders with that question in mind.

  • The videos are the same because I took them together. In other words, I held the two cameras together when shooting. The objective was to have identical videos so I could do an A/B comparison.

  • Most of my youtube videos are recorded very simply, using a Logitech Webcam. Low tech, I know.
