Hi! Great tutorial, congrats. The speed was very good and also the tone of your voice. Also, the images were pretty clear (we could read everything).
If I can leave you a suggestion, it would be: in each step, try to tell "why" are you doing it. For beginners like me it would be really valueble. Like when you copy "top.phtml" to your template folder. Why you need to do that? Magento will override the default if there is a file with the same name in your template's folder?

@ricardas83 sorry but if you want to deploy a magento store with 0 development effort you are better of with another ecommerce...

Hi. Thanks for the tutorial, but I'm wondering how do I sort the menu position? Say, I want the newly added "Customer Service" menu link to be the second link in the menu, as oppose to it being at the end of the row.

Did magento heard anything about CMS like joomla, Drupal, etc., where you can add menu item wthout no programming experience what so ever?!?!?!?!?!?!
