  • @ChocolateHoneycomb I am afraid I agree

  • @ChocolateHoneycomb I can understand if you don't like it, but saying things like "true version" is was I found slightly ignorant. That's just my opinion.

  • @DoubleO711 Well the fact that it sounds like children bashing on intruments again is an opinion. I actually think that it doesn't. What King Crimson was doing with this song was creating a sort of build up for "In the Court...". It does create an interesting feeling (They did this before with Providence leading to Starless on Red). Experimentation was not unheard of, but Crimson put thought into the way that they organized albums. They aren't just tracks leading to tracks.

  • @Absekra The idea is nice yes. But it's hardly advancing music. An improv jam was not unheard of. Putting such a horrible one on album was though......... that sounds kind of harsh I know but it really is just random noodling and eventually devolves to a point that sounds like little children bashing on instruments for the first time.

  • Amazing poetry

  • Don't spek...just sing...don't thing..just dream..

  • this is superb !

  • I'm disliking this because it was clipped. Without The Dream and The Illusion the piece is incomplete.

Dreamy - yes. Boring - not!

  • @ChocolateHoneycomb And that's exactly how it is. It is called "Moonchild including The Dream and The Illusion", Moonchild being the structured song, and The Dream and The Illusion being the experimental parts. The whole piece is still considered to be "Moonchild", though.

  • @Absekra I don't consider that long section part of the track though. The actual song ends at 2:32 and the rest is lke a very long hidden track. They should have seperated it into two songs and called the long part "Improvisation" or something.

  • @onsetliverpool is not boring! is....snooby...hehe
