Joan Crawford leads a strong all-female cast in the 1939 Hollywood Classic "The Women". - Here are some key scenes from the film, along with a 1990s Dance Club version of the Disco Classic "Bad Girls".

  • I love the makeup from this time period, its so simple, not like how women wear makeup nowadays! Makeup from the 1930's is all about eyerbrows and eyes! LOVE IT!

  • @maleficentdiva and the lipstick stayed ON until you took it off! It may have caused cancer here and there, but it STAYED ON without smudging or smearing, dammit!

  • Love this movie but Joan Crawford wasn't the lead. Norma Shearer was. :)

  • @lrrealtor It was a 3-way top billing. Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell. Although Norma Shearer was an Oscar Winner by then (being married to a top producer probably had something to do with the Academy's choice), Joan Crawford was clearly the best known and most popular of the 3 women.
