@maleficentdiva and the lipstick stayed ON until you took it off! It may have caused cancer here and there, but it STAYED ON without smudging or smearing, dammit!

Love this movie but Joan Crawford wasn't the lead. Norma Shearer was. :)

@lrrealtor It was a 3-way top billing. Norma Shearer, Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell. Although Norma Shearer was an Oscar Winner by then (being married to a top producer probably had something to do with the Academy's choice), Joan Crawford was clearly the best known and most popular of the 3 women.
