That lady's really not that educated about parrots.... ALL parrots "will bite you" under the right circumstances. The love of my life is my Amazon and she's as sweet and any 'too I've come across. Stereotypes and generalizations about things in life tend to lead one to ignorance.

I bird-sat the most well behaved Amazon named Sparkles once. From R Thomas Grill in Atlanta.
Well Sparkles left a deep hole between my right thumb and index finger. In the thick fleshy part.
I still have a hole in my hand from 11 years ago.
