its got nothing to do with the motor. mx bikes have sequential dog engagement gears. you can bang em without even lifting, but most people who pay for their own bikes will lift just for a split second when shifting.

@joethehoee i am going to somewhat disagree, because when you chop off the throttle like i do it takes the load off for a fraction of a second, full WOT clutchless shifting is defiantly bad for the transmission.

@miniimoto95 Its hard on the transmision when you dont have the clutch engaging before shifting through gears. There is a reason for everthing in creation......

@ivansmv older air cooled 2 strokes may be different, but most liquid cooled 2 strokes you can.

but using the clutch allows you to keep the throttle pinned while your shifting gears :)

@TheRealTommyGun966 once i finally get it back together i will price it at $2000 plus whatever labor fees for reinstalling the sifter springs.....
they fell off when i was putting the clutch cover back on... i hate little tiny springs
so probably $2100 OBO
