great lift man! great form. im squatting for vertical jump too. if u dont mind me asking, do you think squatting once a week, with 3 sets of 5 with a heavy weight is good? for example, yesterday i did 265lbs for 3x5, and i weigh 160. i usually add 10 pounds a week. does that seem like a good amount, or do u think i should be squatting more during the week, more reps./less reps. etc.?

I personally would squat twice a week with moderate loads. 3x5 twice a week can work. So can a lot of other schemes. The main thing is too build up muscle mass, which is how you get stronger in a way that will help your vertical
High reps can work, that's how I boosted up my squat recently, progressive overload is the key When you feel beat up, go light and low volume for a while to rest
