  • should fix the title, this is not a Theory. it is a Hypothesis that has been rejected by the scientific community.

  • I am skeptical about the hypothesis but you lost me when you started on the pigs. You aren't being fair at all.

  • Defining what determines an aquatic is important, agreed.

I thought that the theory was comparing animals that were aquatic at some point in their evolution, not whether or not they are today.

Read: The Aquatic Ape, then lets talk

  • Been a long time since I saw a video with more dislikes than likes. Certainly restores my faith in Youtubers

By the way, believing and promoting bullshit doesn't make you a skeptic, and people are clearly realizing this.

  • Who the fuck is the woman talking @ 7:31? Nobody feels compelled to inhale when they go underwater. Even newborns instictively hold their breath underwater. These people are full of shit. This is not skepticism, this is bullshit.

  • Pigs? Who said pigs are wallowers? What theory or hypothesis did that form a part of? I smell a straw man. Wild boars are covered in hair.

Aquatic mammals that have hair spend a lot of time keeping it waterproof. So it's a pay off. If the hair is not necessary then it makes sense to lose it.

Dolphins are not large animals yet they are hairless. In anycase humans are not hairless, just less hairy than chimps.

Hippo's spend a lot of time in the water. So did the ancestors of elephants.

  • @BenjaminFranklin2u what does caps have to do with ANYTHING? Certainly not to this topic...

  • retards

  • most pigs have hair, only a few domestic breeds have much lighter coats and when those pigs escape and become feral they grow a thicker coat of hair.

  • @BenjaminFranklin2u because im trying to find legitimate holes in this theory, you say there are many holes but are yet to point out one! enlighten us, point out the holes and say why it its bs please. It cant be too hard if you say there are many..
