In the movie "Tomorrow Never Dies" Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) loses his PPK (7.62) and gets "The new Walther" (Walther P99 which is 9mm.) and in Casino Royal, has the new CP99. (still a 9mm,)

@iluvmyveedub a .380 ACP is a 9x17mm whereas the average 9mm is a 9x19mm. The PPK was replaced by the P99 anyway in Tomorrow Never Dies.

@ELxFNxHW They did, they went all the way up to a 30.06 with tracer rounds, and all they could get was a puncture and cold gas.
-
i don't wanna sound like a fuckin' dumbass or anything but why such a big leep from a 9mm round to a minigun with insinirater rounds or what it was called? (like duh... of course it will blow up)
couldn't they have tried something like an assault rifle or a S&W .357 or .44 or .686?
seems unnecessary to resort to M134 Minigun i believe?

@CoffeeStained Oh, I thought you were being serious... I was about to show up at your house and beat you to death with a copy of Dr. No.
-
@iluvmyveedub It is I who should apologise, I was just quoting Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

@CoffeeStained Sorry, but Dalton is a tool, he was a horrible Bond, Roger Moore did a better job than him.
LOL, Bond didn't have a 9mm, he had a 380 Walter PPK.
Just thought I'd throw that one out there.
