This track is called JETSEX. by two sound engineers Malcolm Cecil and Robert Margouleff. They are using Analogue synthesizers. It will give your large woofers a good work out.
By the way Malcolm, it was your son who put this album on a disc for me, when I spoke to him at the Gothic Image record shop in Glastonbury, where he was working, a few years ago. But I did buy the Vynil album when it was first released.
This track has a very deep bass, when heard on a good sound system.

  • I was once the proud owner of the vinyl album.

I must have been in my teens when I bought it and I'm now 54.

Two divorces and a move to Asia took its toll, I no longer have any vinyl!!. Wonderful sounds, great to hear this track again.

Despite the loss of vinyl, I love my life. YouTube is a great medium for me.

  • I used to be a member of the Nottingham Astronomical Society and a member put this on a tape for me. I bought the album and the Analogue sound was brilliant on my Sony music centre. Now my large Fisher studio speakers reproduce the DEEP BASS. My elderly sister who lives in the flat above is not keen. I once told the dotty cow there had been an earth tremor and she believed me :-)

  • i agree with noel2711 do you remember the fish eye lens and seed dream

  • Thanks for this, I have the vinyl also, my second...

  • Tonto's was so ahead of its time, even compared to electronic music pioneers in the universities and Canadian Electroacoustic Community. Thanks for posting this.

  • amazing

  • Malcolm Cecil has had a very successful career as a musician and engineer/producer, for many years He's been in the Woodstock, NY area playing and recording for some years now, and still has the original TONTO..

  • Oh wow, havn't heard this in over 30 years. If anyone gets a chance do a search for T.O.N.T.O. its just one huge spaceship looking thing with dozens of MOOG's hooked up. T'was a nightmare to tune as well.

What else........cost about 60,000 to bulid and is only worth about a 100,000 grand now. Malcom Cecil is still going strong as far as I know.

  • Many thanks for posting, this is the original digi / compu. music long before the German bands Kraftwerk or Tangerine Dream etc. These guys were groundbreakers. Nobody else was even near. I have this album from original - a bit worn now. The gear they used filled a room - Nowadays you can use Wavelab or something similar on your laptop - it was a bit like the Apollo technology then compared with a cell phone now.
