Also (couldn't fit this in previous comment) must've sucked getting the cart out, at least that doesn't happen very often. Liked seeing that inflatable pool thing pop around 14:06, when you throw something like that away, it may take a few cycles but sooner or later with a full truck that will get deflated! Once again, fantastic job--always like seeing this good old packer handle a full cart-load of garbage. I recently got a freaking ~30 min. hopper vid on trash with one of the Heil ASLs here :D

I noticed a few 04' McNeilus ASL trucks around here where they have had to cut out the bottom of the hopper where the trash falls in and reweld a new bottom section what causes the hoppers to wear out this bad. I know they r constructed of heavy guage plate steel looks like they would be more durable??

@wesbann Bulky stuff and metal is usually what makes holes in the body. A piece of metal can get stuck in the tiny slot under the blade and cut a hole in the floor, it's happened to my truck in two places so far.

does this compact as well as a leach??

@ash4245 I put 17.15 tons on yesterday, pretty good for an ASL with this type of blade.

Great vid, I said my opinions on the last vid but yeah, just show the entire pack cycle before fading out (think I saw more of that in this vid though). And maybe don't even bother fading out to black, just cross-fade one shot into the next or have no transition at all if that's easier.
4:57 reminded me that it's surprising we don't see more yard waste come through the trash because there's no separate service for it..you would think leaves or something would show up more often. Awesome post!!!

@Trashman242 Most of the time when I edit out a pack it's for time constraint, any other time it's because nothing exciting happened, just pushed against garbage that won't go in any further.
