  • @carbilicon mine too. Put me on a different path.

  • I love this tune!!! :D

  • @BlueOrderRedMarauder Thought you might like to know i have acquired a vinyl copy of the 93 (fabulous) edition of this tune and made my own mp3 from it. It's quality and happy to share it. You helped solve one of the greatest mysteries of our time... Thank you!

  • Hi sorry u dont happen to know who the mix was by in march 94...can prob get it of mixriot

  • @astrax101 - Glad someone else noticed! I have a very good tape of that essential mix in March 1994 with the original on it. It has Opal's 'the Snake' following this great tune. Youre right - that bassline was fatter and had a deep wave in it. I have this 1995 12 inch and it just isn't the same. i will happily load the 6 minutes of that tape up as a vid or can email ti you. I doubt youd find it on mp3 but good luck!

  • The 1993 paint a picture (fabulous music) is only available on vinyl as far as i know, its clearly the best version, any other mix just doesn't sound as good to me,its also on you tube, but i haven't found a good quality mp3 as yet.

  • @BlueOrderRedMarauder.... Since 1994 i have been searching for evidence that the 94 mix was different o the only one you can get to hear nowadays.... now i found your comment and it's like, "that's what i've been trying to tell you!"

Recall the bassline in that mix was much thicker than this which although it's good, seems a bit watered down by comparison. i have the original on a very warped tape recording of Essential Mix 19/03/94.

Anyone know where you can get a decent mp3 copy of that?

  • Preferred the 94 original Oakenfold kept the lid on...typical Oak!

  • paul mix

  • excellent vive la techno des années 90 !!
