Selenas POV:
Great, the alarm rings, the wake up call to my double life. I cant believe summer is over and I have to go back to that hell hole. I guess its not all bad, I mean the people actually worship me there (laughs) I have to put on a mask so that people dont see through me, I've worked so hard at this image of the fierce, beautiful cheerleader.
Selenas mom: (Comes into Selenas room) Selena are you getting ready, (excited) first day of school!
Selena: (Thinking: show time) (fake smiles) yeah I cant wait
Selenas mom: (Kisses her cheek) good hun, remember it takes a lot to get where you are at school (leaves)
Selena: (Smile instantly fades when her mom leaves)
POV
That's what I hate about my mom its like shes trying to carry on her fantastic childhood through me. Its like if I were anything less than what I am pretending to be, then she would be ashamed of me. Just because she was the queen bee, its like a heritage passed down.
(Selena gets ready for school, making sure she looks her best to keep up her image)
At School
Selena: (Walking down the hallway her stilettos slamming down with each step she takes)
Boy: (Whistles) damn!
Selena: (Smiles and shakes her head, hears a second pair of high heels next to her, looks over to see Miley, smiles big, stops at her locker)
Miley: I can't believe summer is over (pouts)
Selena: Yeah, do I look ok?
Miley: Duh! Look at everyone staring at us (sighs)
Demi: (Excited) Hey guys, yay first day of school! (Giggles) look at that hot guy staring at you, wow that must be awesome! (Squeals)
Selena: (Rolls her eyes to Miley) yeah its great! (lying)
Demi: You look totally fab today! (Quickly hugs her)
Selena: (Awkwardly hugs back) Thanks
All start walking down the hallway)
Miley: (Imitates Demi, faking really excited) (mouths) Yeah you look totally FAB!
(Both burst out laughing)
Selena: (Hits her playfully) shhh! (Thinks: Ughh I dont know why Demi wants to be like me, all i am is a fake, Im totally alone, well except Miley. Damn it, I gotta keep up my act, I cant let my mom down) (looks at Demi and smiles)
Demi: (Smiles really big) (Thinks: wow she's so pretty, I would kill to be her, she must love her life)
Joe: (Standing in the way, notices Selena and her posse so quickly runs to stand against the lockers, staring at the girls)
Zac: (Comes behind Selena and grabs her waist whilst there still walking) hey babe
Selena: (Stops walking, turns to face him) hey (kisses him running her finger through his hair)
Zac: (Kisses back, deepen it)
Demi: Aww so cute!
Selena: (Pulls away) hey! lip gloss (points to her lips)
Zac: (Rubs his lips together) mmm strawberry
Selena: (Smiles but it quickly vanishes when everyone looks away, she looks sad)
Joe: (Notices and is confused) (thinks: what has she got to be sad about!)
Young Girl: Uhh S-Selena?
