if Brazil can make ethanol work so can we. instead of subsidies they should have put blender pumps in and let the people decide which fuel they want. I am familiar with how ethanol is made, and i think if the pumps were their ethanol could compete without subsidies. plus in 2010 their was over 13 billion gallons produced and i doubt any country could pick up that much slack because if they could we wouldn't have $113 oil. ethanol is not going away. no battery can compete with LIQUID fuel.
