Motor with clutch plate center

Here's a video of the motor with the coupler/gear that came out of the differential in the golf cart. I removed the center of a clutch plate generously donated by Preston Petty (Thank you!!). You can see that the gear and clutch plate are the exact same diameter. I am hoping to be able to take advantage of that when making the coupler to the Metro transaxle. Ultimately, I want to make a coupler without machining or welding since the diameters are the same. Theoretically, I shouldn't have any alignment problems because of that.....
