The main music in the video is "Funky Like Humans" by Odd One Out. Song used with permission. The intro music was created by Imrational.

Maryland's anti-atheist law was overturned decades ago.

Regarding North Carolina's & South Carolina's anti-atheist laws http://newsweek.washingtonpost.com/onfaith/panelists/herb_silverman/2009/12/a...

The George Bush Sr quote is in dispute. The only admitted witness to the quote was the journalist who reported it. His secondary witness denied hearing the quote and the journalist changed his comments regarding this. Information secured from the Bush administration neither confirms nor denies the comment, only showing that the administration was concerned if damage control was needed regarding the public's perception of the alleged quote.

Actually violent crime is a lot lower today. Now, I doubt that atheism is responsible for that drop... but it does show that you are wrong about crime rates going up.

As to "God" being placed all over our nation and its monuments, that doesn't mean it's right. I have no problem you putting up crosses and references to god on your private property. Just don't use my tax dollars to promote your religion over everyone else's.

  • Hey buddy , you might wanna get your research right because the founding fathers all actualy believed in god ( higher power ) but they werent " Christians " and FYI the preamble and the declaration of independence and the freakin pledge were all originally wrote using the word " lord " not God but "our lord" aka God

  • @SkinnyBurden

If you listen to the video a little closer, you'll see that I do not say the founding fathers were atheists. I merely said that many weren't Christian.

As to the Declaration of Independence and it's Preamble... that document was when we were under control of the British government and while it is an important document, it is outside of our Constitution. If you notice, the Constitution makes no reference to Christianity other than ensuring we have freedom of religion.

  • Talk about hipocrites who force religion! You're right! We should FORCE what 1% of America believes in public schools and disregard what 95% of Americans believe! Quit trying to CHANGE our country! If you hate America so much then move! You guys took God out of the schools and it is very evident that He LEFT. We NEVER had to worry about kids being shot in schools when prayer and God were allowed in.Keep pushing Him OUT of this country and watch what happens! Our nation hasn't seen ANYTHING yet!

  • @imrational OMG!!! YOU'RE RIGHT!!! I remember all of the horrible stories my parents and grandparents told me about all of the school shootings taking place when they were kids and how their parents were afraid to let them walk to the store by themselves and afraid to leave their doors unlocked at night... thank GOD we don't have to worry about that stuff AS MUCH anymore!!! :O

  • Yay!!! You guys are all SOOOO smart! Creationism was taught in nearly all the schools in the United States, from the position that the literal interpretation of the Bible was inerrant because THE MAJORITY of our founding fathers and society did NOT believe in a God or the bible. It makes so much sense!!! How could you be such idiotic, moronic, ignoramuses?

  • @ShojoBakunyu As much as you and the other 2% of Americans would love to believe America was NOT founded on athiesm and there's no proof that even comes close. Not ONE of our founding fathers was a professing athiest. Benajmin Franklin & "Mind Your Business" doesn't proove anything. BF stated that he believed in one God, the creator of the universe and thought he ought to be worshipped. 9 March 1790, in John Bigelow, ed., The Works of Benjamin Franklin, at 12:185-86 (New York: Putnam’s, 1904)

  • @reisdorph Did you even WATCH the video before vomiting out your nonsense?

  • @reisdorph You are a moron. "God" was placed all over our nation in the 1950's as a response to the knee-jerk fear of Communism. Most of our founding fathers were not Christian. They were atheists and deists. Benjamin Franklin wanted the motto on the money to be "Mind Your Business". Your ignorance on the history of our country is truly astounding.

  • The US broke away from GB because the Crown wanted taxes from everyone, regardless of religion to pay for churches. A town could not be built unless there was a standing Christian church. The people basically said "Fuck you, crown, we'll build a town regardless of churches and religions." Keeping freedom of religion and politics separate was a main concern, but never really worked out. People vote for whoever shares their faith, & any politicians claiming to be Atheist is instant death.

  • I'm an Atheist, and I detest, despise and abhor religion with a passion. It permeates through the fabric of society like a fucking cancer, affecting everyone and everything. It's an arrogant cloud of silent but deadly wafting in the air and poisoning minds. Like a virus that mutates and changes for optimal indoctrination of each new generation. Atheism is the only cure.

  • @reisdorph lol u get pwned by the vid owner
