see now....this isnt quite specific enough lol, cause im 17 and i can grow a good thick amount on my chin but not all over my face, and i keep it so its a really clean cut look, does this qualify as the "patchy pointless look"?

Some people can. What I'm saying was to tease some kids who grow it patchy thinking it makes them look older and it doesn't. If it grows for real and sometimes it does as young as 14 and if that's the case it does really make them look older. This wasn't supposed to offend anybody or hurt their feelings it was just a leg pull really.
