It takes a special horse to learn the short reins. The horse must never kick or show any signs of frustration with the trainer. It is not a natural thing for a handler to stand against the haunches of the horse and for the horse to allow it. Uraneo is that special horse. He was bred and started his training at Caballos Espanoles in Spain. Uraneo came to the home of Kilimanjaro Ranch, where he is now in training on the short reins. He has learned to collect himself and do movements that take years for other horses to learn under saddle. Uraneo, along with Avi, is a prime example of the bond and respect a horse and his master must have to perform this beautiful form of equestrian art.

I am in love with Uraneo!! The way he moves,and he has such a free spriit!! He is definatly one of the most gorgeous PRE horses ever!! My channel is all about him and Alborozo!!
