Ashley's P.O.V

I look at myself one more time in the mirror. Just to check my perfection. I'm not self centered. I just have an image in school and I have to keep that rep up. I'm popular but not a cheerleader. I like parties but I don't drink. I have mean friends but I'm not mean. At least I think I'm not. I get my back and go downstairs to eat breakfast. My house? Pretty big. My life? Small. People think my life is perfect but those people are wrong. my life is a total drag. My house might be big and I got a lot of stuff. But there are things of my life that aren't normal. I finish breakfast and drive to school.

I arrive there and see a lot of new faces. I'm not one of them. I've been here for 6 straight years and still nothing new. I sigh and feel an arm around my shoulders. I look up and see my boyfriend, Rick. He's a jock. He's not a jerk, he's nice.
Rick: Hey Ash
Ashley: Hey Rick
Rick: Come on lets go
We start walking down the halls of school and I spot something I used to ignore.

Nick's P.O.V

I wake up and look at my surroundings. It's my room and my lil' bro's room. I'm a gang bad boy in school. I grew up in a group who killed my dad. They were about to kill the rest of my family unless I join them. I have been there for 6 years. I'm not the leader. I just joined the group just to keep my family alive. But since I joined, my actions are different. I treat everyone the same. Girls too. I don't know why. I'm living with regrets now.
I go downstairs and go to my car and drive to school.
I spot my group near the lockers.
Sean: Hey
Nick: Hey
Jasper: Any plans today?
Nick: Nah! Let things just come up
Kyle: Hey guys. Derek said we got our annual drinking party in the creek beach later after school
Jasper: Awesome
Kyle: Everyone HAS to come
Sean: Ok we're all coming
Nick: Yeah we are.
Kyle: We gotta go meet up with Derek right now
Nick: Ok
We all ran to Derek. Derek is the gang leader. Knew him since I was 6. He killed my dad but neverr went to jail. He's pretty bad but he treats me like his own son. He doesn't study in this school. He just works here just to watch us.

Ashley's P.O.V

I saw a group of guys wearing black leather jackets and red bandana's. I never really saw them before. Ok I did but I never really looked at them like this. Rick brough us to the group of jocks. I'm like the only popular girl who isn't a cheerleader. But they accept me because I'm Rick's girlfriend. I wasn't paying attention to what they were talking about. I was only looking at the Derek's gang. Everyone knows Derek's gang. Just not the members in them. I was looking at a 5'6, curly haired guy with a red bandana. He looked interesting. I meant like I had to urge to know about him. He's kinda mysterious. The group soon ran somewhere and I saw a red bandana on the floor. Must be that mysterious guy's bandana. I quickly ran there without telling Rick where I'm going and grabbed the bandana. I looked at it and examined it. I soon felt strong hands around me.
Rick: Ash come on leave it
Ashley: Rick it's someone else's. I'm gonna keep it first until I find who owns this
Rick: Ok. But be careful. Thats Derek's gangs signature bandana
Ashley: Ok. I'll keep it for a while.
Rick: Just be careful when you give it back. I don't want you to get hurt
Ashley: I won't.
Rick and the group left I was still standing there holding the bandana and looking at it. In the corner there was something written in it. I softly read it.
Ashley: Nick....Nick Jonas
As I finished reading it, it was swapped away from my hands. I looked up and the curly haired dude I was looking at was there right infront of me.
Ashley: Oh sorry. You dropped it when you ran
Nick: It's fine.
He gave me an angry look. I was kinda scared but looked strong.
Nick: Your not scared?
Ashley: *gulps* No....
Nick: Cause when I give this look, people usually run away.
Ashley: Oh ok then I should be going then.
I turned around and walked away.
