This is a "How to" video with some simple guidelines for producing a family history video. These guidelines are: 1. Focus on one person and one place, so that everything else refers back to that one person. 2. Identify people in old photos for future generations. 3. Tell a BRIEF story behind some of the photos. 3. Use audio, old home movies, maps, a census close-up, and family objects (like Walter's handmade dice cup). 4. For each person use a 'before' photo and a 'later' photo. 5. End with something you liked about the family, an old family saying or a statement that summarizes their beliefs.
