  • Also articulated buses serve a good purpose for bus routes that get crowded fast

  • Nice looking artic bus

  • So should SEPTA.

  • im serious WMATA need those

  • naa i mean the skirt panels things

  • Thats the joint. You can't expect a 60ft vehicle not to have a joint. Can you imagine how hard it would be for a 60ft vehicle to do a right turn with no join in the middle? It would disasterious.

  • i just noticed that the front airconditioner ( sorry if i misspelled) is longer than the rear one

  • I see your point. My other concern is why the heck would the province of Ontario politically interfering with the TTCs purchases just for their own interests.

  • Frames rusted out. They were not designed for the Canadian winters. The bigger problem is that TTC had interest in acquiring the GM Artics, but the province (who had an interest in OBI - Ontario Bus Industries, later Orion Bus Industries) persuaded the TTC to buy the Orion III by offering a signficant cash incentive (which they would withhold had they bought the GM's). End result, inferior articulated buses that didn't last anywhere close to as long as the GM's ... just look at Hamilton's!

  • What happened with the Orion 3s?
