TO DO THIS YOU WIL NEED CFW!

cfw = customfirmware , firmware is the systemsoftware of the psp and cfw is the hacked fw to hack the psp you must use a pandora set (pandora battery and pandora magicstick) see youtube for tutorials , if you don't have cfw then this wil NOT work!

at the right corner of the site

3. download the decompresed topmenu_plugin.rco (fw 2.60 or lower rco) for your cfw and put it in the flash0/vsh/recource by replacing the old 1

COMMON PROBLEMS AND THERE SOLUTIONS:

1. NEED DECOMPRESSED RCO
rco editor can only edit a decompressed rco,
so when you get a error use decompressed rco just replace your topmenu_plugin.rco with the decrypted topmenu_plugin.rco in the link above

2. THE TEXT DIN'T CHANGE
remember onces you have changed the text you must click on change to save the changes you made

3. IF YOU CANNOT FIND A RCO FILE THEN

Thats actually not true ive been doing this on ctf files.you do it the same way but you have to extract the theme with ctf tool and SET it to decompress and then re=pack it after and it works fine. See you even learn something new.

Ok so I follow every step and get no change. Im going to try using patpat converter to extract then have that decompress the RCO while is un packs then have it re pack after see if I get any results.

@greengale2 instal uncompressed rco files for your cfw I have a other video that shows how its called make your own theme part 1

I got this message when I tried to open the topmenup_plugin.rco

Invalid RCO - you must use a decompressed (FW 2.60 or lower) RCO!

(Z33's Resurssiklunssi should be able to do the job for you :P)

What should I do?
