Miley Cyrus Rocks Poison Cover!

A former rocker makes a big statement about Miley Cyrus and her music talent. Don't go anywhere.

Hey people. I'm your host Dana Ward and today Clevver TV is talking about a recent recording with the Disney star. Frontman of the former mega-band Poison, Bret Michaels, recently worked with Cyrus on a cover of his hit track, 'Every Rose has its Thorn.' Because it's definitely not a duet, Michaels said that Cyrus got to put her own contemporary spin on the song and really make it her own. Apparently, MC's first concert was to see Poison in Nashville and both musicians were really excited to work with the other on the 80s ballad.

The interesting part about this recording is that Michaels said Cyrus is one of the few musicians who could have pulled off the cover of 'Every Rose has its Thorn' with flare. Miley reportedly got into the studio, picked up the guitar and made it sound good. After all was said and done, Bret called the project with Miley a simple process.

I found out about this stupid cover when I was at my friends house and said one of my favorite songs is Every Rose has its Thorn. My friend, being an insane psychopath Miley fan, said 'Isn't that a Miley Cyrus song?' I pretty much wanted to smack her just for telling me that. How can anyone dare to remake a song that doesn't need anything done to it? The only thing Ilike about this is that Bret approved.

Ok I don't wanna be offensive.. this is just my opinion. Today's "music" is ruining rock n' roll. I don't think Miley has any special rock talent... Rock is easy to play but hard to feel. I think miley's version can suck poison' version's big hairy balls. I think miley is a great musician... But what she did with the song just isn't rock n' roll.

Let me make one thing clear. I like her but not when she tries to imitate other people. Fly on the Wall, Can't be Tamed, The Climb that kind of original. When she was doing the whole Hannah Montana thing she was more towards little kids. Now she's aiming towards tweens/teens and its easier to listen to her music. Those two songs just sent flames of rage through me because I prefer the original. Every Rose Has Its Thorn is meant for a man and Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun was meant for high pitched.

And one of the Jonas Brothers, Nick Jonas has been on Broadway since the age of 7, so you're a loser.
