Hey its Keira knightly
-
From the movie Centurion to whoever who might want to know.
-
@Matrim4511 You mean Norse, not "Nord". The people you are referring to from Scandinavia were Norse, or Norsemen. Though, from what I've seen in Skyrim (I didn't play the others), the Nord seem to have been modelled after the Norse.

More specifically, the girl in the picture is Olga Kurylenko, a Ukraine-born Russian model turned Hollywood actress. Other movies: Centurion (where this picture comes from), Quantum of Solace, Hitman, Max Payne. Centurion wasn't a bad movie, but she's been in a lot of poor productions despite not being a particulary bad actress, herself. I'm anxious for the day she does a movie that really gives her the credit she deserves.

@Matrim4511 and im sure you know this but for those that dont this is from the movie Centurion
-
@thull21 No, that's the Dovakiin, Imperial Female version.
-
@Matrim4511 the ACTRESS is russian so you writing about her origin (Etain is just a movie character) is just retarded.

And technically Bethesda has never released a live-action movie so that woman is not a Tamrielic nord in any sense.
I'm just giving you a hard time tho, glad to see you started with a classic game before the Skyrim craze. In all likelihood, the vast majority of half-crippled youtuber's that comment on this video wouldn't even know what Morrowind was unless they took a visit to wikipedia.
Anyways, youtube arguments are stupid, take it easy bud

Technical Nords in real life back from antiquity hailed from Scandinavia, particularly those that worshipped the old norse gods (Odin, Thor, Loki, etc.)
Technically, despite all of the great things that Bethesda does, they couldn't think of an original name for their race of Northern Humans and so they ripped off an classical name.
Technically the woman from the picture is a Slavic actress, but she is PLAYING an early Celtic woman and not a nord.

Yep, yep. I love Skyrim, but JEEZ, does EVERYTHING have to be about it?
For anyone actually wondering who the girl is and uninterested in dumb skyrim references, the woman from the picture is Etain, a pictish tracker from the wilder, unsettled regions of Northern Britain during the golden age of the Roman Empire. This would make her Celtic in origin and not Nordic.
Although, I will admit, she does look a bit like Aela
