How To Install Libusb For Windows Vista, and Windows 7!

Hey everyone this is how to install libusb to windows 7, and windows vista!
This is important to use this method or your computer will break!
Mine doesnt show it, but in that drop down menu click windows xp service pack 2!

thanks =D Although im still abit nervous about jailbreaking my ipod touch =/ if for some reason it bricks or something, can i just restore it with itunes and it will all back to normal?

when i download it it's a rar file with loads of files in it not an exe file like you have? am i missing something?

I figured I should mention this.  I downloaded and installed the libusb.sys for the purpose of using a PS3 controller on my pc, which it kinda worked for, but at the same time, it began conflicting with my sony walkman mp3 player whenever I connected it to my pc. After about 1000 hours of troubleshooting was when I finally realized that this was the problem. If you install libusb0.sys, you will LIKELY have problems with MTP devices likely sony walkman mp3 players and other brands as well!

Guys it doesn't freeze your computer it just stops all USB devices from working (like your mouse if its USB) to fix this straight away you just use your keyboard to go to control panel and uninstall libusb.

For everyone with just a bunch of files:

When you go to the site to download it, click release, the first folder (Should be 2.2 .something or something like that) then download the exe file.

same as some other people here - i downloaded it, and when i got the file, there were just a bunch of text documents, and no application links. what the heck?

@MashedPotat0 if you end up with a rar file like that, try extracting it with a program like 7zip or winRAR.
