wow!!! justice done!! I don't believe this, how barbaric of this person to call this a justice done. Where is the prosecution? where is the defense? where is a fair trial? How is this justice when the judge is the same as prosecution.

Yes it is Iran, not Iraq, but lets remember that its not the people of Iran that are corrupt, its the government. Some of these men I believe were executed for rape but many were executed merely because they were drug addicts. The endless hangings in Iran are tragic. Its making the young people of Iran flee to America, Canada and the united Kingdom. This was a once beautiful culture and has now been corrupted by the extremist Mullahs. Its not the people that are bad, but the radical government.

As Iran continues to break diplomatic walls around the world, people will become more aware and familiar of new ideas and thinking. I should Mr. Ahmadinejad for hes efforts to continue peacefull negotiations with western countries.

Sanctions and cultural backwardness in some remote areas of Iran, such as Kurdistan and Baluchestan, afghan refugees, poverty and unemployment, are factors that are extremely important when talking about executions in Iran, and ofcourse Islamic Sharia Law, which I believe , as the revolution takes it's course, human right laws, laws regarding better social upraising, prison conditions, will progress rapidly onside with cultural development in coming decades.

However advacnce of science and research shows the links between execution and crime is weak. Rehabilitation of criminals back into society and long prison term, have shown to prove more responsive effects in prevention of crime. As personal view Iran is not in stage of offering other terms of prosecution for serious offences as such, at the moment, due to its cultural, and geographical circumstances, being a transient state, connecting afghanistan to turkey, and a huge drug traffickers .
