Greyhounds and Lurchers need homes

It is estimated that 20,000 greyhounds leave the racing industry each year. Some are abandoned or euthanased. Take a look at some of the lucky ones who have ended up in rescue

Greyhounds are about the most sweet tempered affectionate and friendly dogs a person can get. If you want a quiet night of staying home and watching movies, they'll be more than happy to help you keep the couch warm. They don't require a lot of exercise and don't have a lot of coat to shed. They only real caveat with a greyhound is that they can't be trusted off leash in an open area. They're bred to chase small things and that's what they'll do. Exercise them in a closed off area.

We have a retired racing greyhound and a rescued lurcher too. They are the best! Seeing them run together is the finest thing.Reccomend them to anyone.
